You should look at the timeliness of the sources and to make sure that it is new or recent; look at the authority where this information comes from; the audience, who are the readers; the relevance, which is the information related to the topic that you want to explain; and the perspective, which is if the sources have bias or not. If you are using sources from a website, the good places that you can go are websites you feel are reliable or by looking at the URL. Websites with the URL.edu, .gov, and .org are more reliable, while you should be more careful using .net and .com sources. You can also check when the page was last updated. Also, the most important thing is the credibility of the author to know if the source quality is good before you write the research project. When you do research on the internet it can take longer. Sometime the information from the internet is not well-founded or accurate. These ideas, especially regarding credibility, can be applied to other sources such as books, magazines, television and others.
